NAMPA, IDAHO --JULY 25, 2007

New Location for The Bead Shoppe Features Make & Take Jewelry Studio and More

Ask a beadaholic where to find a hank of beads in Canyon County and they will tell you about The Bead Shoppe, a family business founded in December 2003 by Tristine Miller. From a small office on 12th Avenue South in Historic Downtown Nampa, enthusiasts and casual beaders have witnessed the bead collections grow over the years. So much so that the family has decided that now is a good time to relocate.

From August 1st through August 6th, the shop will be closed while the collection of beads and jewelry making supplies travel a short distance across the street to 19 - 12th Avenue South. The new location is part of what is referred to as "the old Kalbus building" by long-time locals.

The Bead Shoppe will continue to offer classes by appointment, restringing services, beading supplies, beaded consignments, Bead Club meetings, and designer discounts at their new location. The shop will also feature a new Make & Take Studio for walk-in jewelry design where clients can create a necklace, earrings, or bracelet in an hour or two.

Miller says “There will be no need for an appointment to learn the basics of bead stringing with our new studio. Plus we are working with 1st Street Espresso next door so clients can order a beverage to enjoy when they design custom jewelry in our shop.”

Project design sheets will be available for those brand-new to beading or clients can be their own jewelry designer and create on the go. Beads and findings are sold by the piece or in strands for quantity. Tools are provided for in-studio designs.

The public is invited to check out the new location when they reopen for regular business hours on August 7th. The Grand Re-Opening Celebration is scheduled on Tuesday, August 21st, from 11am-9pm where special extended hours will be offered for one day only, along with sales, door-prizes, and more.

ABOUT - The Bead Shoppe is open Monday thru Friday from 11am to 6pm and Saturdays from 10am-6pm. For more information visit www.thebeadshoppe.com or contact Tristine Miller at tristine@thebeadshoppe.com or call 208-461-3639.
