The Bead Shoppe is dedicated to providing instruction on beading projects and techniques. We provide supplies & classes taught by talented local artists, along with the basic instruction on bead stringing in our Walk-In Design Studio.

When are classes held? Your schedule is our schedule for our On-Demand classes and guarantees personalized instruction. Simply call us with 2-3 available dates and times and we coordinate the schedule with our instructors. You can even schedule a lesson before or after regular business hours if our instructors are available. Bring a friend or two and learn with the experts. We feature one scheduled class per month with our Bead Club.

How much do classes cost? There is a class fee per person. Material costs vary and largely depend on the type of beads you choose or what you have available from your own supply. Materials purchased in our shop the day of your class are subject to special discounts! Group discounts are also available.

How long do classes last? The average length of our classes is 2-3 hours depending on skill level and the project. Sometimes the longest and hardest part of the project is picking the beads so plan ahead. See class descriptions for more details.

What tools do I need? The Bead Shoppe provides tools for you to use during our classes to keep projects economical while helping you gain the confidence needed to learn how to create beautiful jewelry designed by you! Some projects require your own set of tools to complete at home.

SPECIAL SERVICES

BEAD CLUB MEETINGS
Enjoy FREE instruction every 1st Saturday from 2-4pm with our new Bead Club. Sign up for our mailing list to receive material mailers every quarter plus special discounts available to members only. Bead Club projects allow you to use your existing supplies for cost effective projects and the designs range from easy to advanced. Our free classes vary monthly and can include everything from working with seed beads to working with wire. A limited amount of tools are available so be sure to bring your own.

DESIGN STUDIO
We offer basic bead stringing on a first-come-first-serve basis in our new design studio during our regular business hours. Make a pair of earrings (Appx 30min), a bracelet (Appx 1hr), or a necklace (Appx 2hr) and enjoy Historic Downtown Nampa. Design sheets are available to help you pick out patterns and materials or you can create your own design. The hardest part of jewelry-making is picking out the beads! We provide assistance from everything from using crimp beads to learning how to work a head pin to simple knotting. Bring a friend or two, enjoy a gourmet espresso from our neighbors at 1st Street Espresso, and bead the afternoon away. Reservations are required for parties of 5 or more.

CUSTOM STRINGING
We offer restringing and repair services for strung and beaded jewelry. Jewelry that require metal-working or gem-cutting are referred to local jewelers. Estimated time of completion and fees depend on project complexity. We also design and create custom beaded jewelry. You pick out the beads, we take the measurements, and complete the work for you. Minimum service charges may apply.

GROUP BEADING PARTIES
Our instructors offer discounts on their class fees when instructing parties of 5 or more. A maximum of 12 people per party is allowed to insure that each participant receives proper instruction on each beading project. When your group requires a special project not found in this brochure, we provide a project design service for you to match time constraints and budget. Projects can range from simple stretchy bracelets to multi-strand necklaces to basic earring design. Schedule an appointment to see what projects we can design for you and your party.
